This cooking course will take place in Levanto, only 5 minutes by train from the Cinque Terre. You will meet Ermanno, one of the best chefs of Levanto. He will introduce you to his beautiful restaurant and its lovely kitchen before starting the cooking lesson.
The Italian cuisine is famous for the generous use of herbs in most of the recipes, such as rosemary, thyme, sage, borage and fresh basil. Basil is not only used for the famous pesto sauce but also to add flavour to many other Italian and Ligurian dishes.
Ermanno will help you prepare three different local specialties following the old recipes handed down from generation to generation.
