Sailing along the Cinque Terre coast

Sailing

Discover the coastline of the Cinque Terre National Park and the Golfo dei Poeti (Gulf of Poets) with a sailing boat.

This full day tour starts in the harbour of La Spezia and first you will cross the Golfo dei Poeti. You can admire Portovenere, Lerici as well as the islands of Palmaria and Tino. Then you will sail along the Cinque Terre. The five villages look quite different from the sea.

Your captain will stop in a nice place and you will enjoy your lunch on board. You will taste a local speciality like pasta with pesto or salted anchovies. In case of nice weather, you can also go for a swim or do a bit of snorkeling. You'll be sailing with a small group, so it's also a good possibility to meet other travellers.

If you are interested, you can also learn the bases of sailing.

In case the Cinque Terre villages are not reachable because of the rough sea, the tour is however guaranteed cruising in the stunning Gulf of Poets. This condition does not imply the right of price reduction or cancellation.

Hi, Our sailing was amazing! We had such a good day! We met the guys on time, climbed on the boat and went. The boat was lovely and Alessandro was so much fun too. We got to stop at a few different spots to jump off and swim. Lunch was easy and topped off with a few bottles of prosecco. Definitely worth the money and such a great way to see the Cinque Terre. Thank you so much for making it happen. It made our holiday perfect.

Good Day, Apologies for the delayed response; it has been slow getting back to reality. Our sailing on 9-24 was great! The weather held out and the pesto/focaccia was tasty. Giorgio, the captain, couldn't have been better! He was pleasant, kind and knowledgeable. My husband and I loved conversing and sailing with him and are sorry we did not obtain his e-mail address to stay in contact. If possible, could you facilitate this? Attached are 2 photos from this trip. As you can guess, the sailing was a highlight for us while in Italy and the perfect anniversary gift for my husband. Again, I so appreciate all of your assistance while making this reservation. Thank you again! Best,
Robyn

Hello! We had a fabulous experience sailing with you on Thursday 9/14. Once we left Monterosso the wind had picked up enough to raise the sails, turn the motor off and sail back to La Spezia!! So very awesome. Our skipper made the trip memorable, he's friendly, knowledgeable and interesting. Thank You for an experience I'm glad I've had. I would recommend your outfit to anyone!! Respectfully,
Cynthia
Hi! While we loved every minute in the Cinque Terre, especially Manarola, the sailing tour was the highlight of our stay. We were lucky with the wind! We have never heard of the Gulf of Poets before, but the towns and bays there were just as beautiful as the Cinque Terre coastline. Porto Venere was our favourite, with the church sitting on top of the rock, such a unique sight. We loved swimming off the boat, and learning about sailing from Alessandro, who was so much fun. We'll surely recommend this tour to our friends heading to Italy next year. Thank you for all your help.

Tamara, our Cinque Terre sailing tour was our favourite experience during our holiday on the French and Italian Riviera. We loved the sight of the 5 villages from the sea, but our favourite village was actually Portovenere, with the church on the rock. Alessandro was so much fun! He also promised to send us some photos, I hope we will get them soon. Keep up the good work.
