Boat rental in Portofino, Santa Margherita Ligure and Rapallo

If you are staying in Portofino, Santa Margherita Ligure, Rapallo, Camogli or anywhere else around there, please check the beautiful sailboat, motorboats, rubber boats, yachts and luxury yachts below, which can be rented in the area. Some of them are located in Rapallo, others are based in Portofino, but pick-up in other towns is also possible.

In case you would like to rent a motorboat without skipper, they do not ask for a licence, but you should have some experience driving boats on the sea. These motorboats can be picked up in Rapallo, Portofino or Camogli.

IMPORTANT: You can only use these small boats in the Portofino area. It is absolutely forbidden to go to the Cinque Terre area. Boats need to have a permit to enter the Cinque Terre National Park and the protected marine area around it, and these boats do not have it. So you can have a huge fine (thousands of euros) if you enter without permit. Also, the Cinque Terre is quite far by the sea from Portofino, so also the fuel would not be enough. If you'd like to go from the Portofino area to the Cinque Terre, you can rent one of the larger, stronger boats with skipper, or take the train to the Cinque Terre and I help you rent a boat locally there.

Most boats, however, can be rented with skipper. You will have a wonderful day cruising around the Portofino peninsula. You can go east from Portofino, in the Gulf of Tigullio, towards Paraggi, Santa Margherita Ligure, San Michele di Pagana and Rapallo.

On board you can have some drinks and snacks, each boat has a different selection of drinks available. Some boat owners also offer a great selection of champagne and you can also enjoy oysters while cruising. If you'd like to have a special kind of champagne (Dom Perignon, Veuve Cliquot, Ruinart, etc.) and Gillardeau oysters, please let me know.

The boat tour can take place only in case of suitable weather and sea conditions. The skipper will inform us about the weather and sea conditions one day before the boat rental date. Please make sure we can reach you on the phone number and e-mail address you have provided. If your boat rental needs to be cancelled, we will inform you right away.

We suggest to bring with you: camera, a pair of clean shoes to be used on the boat, sunglasses, hat, sunscreen lotion, swimsuit, towel, a light jacket or raincoat, depending on the weather.
