Ride through one of Italy's best-known regions, starting from an agriturismo in Lunigiana, a wonderful area close to the Cinque Terre.
After a short briefing with your horseback riding guide, you will make your way to the "Via Francigena", the ancient route that in medieval times connected Canterbury to Rome. You'll pass through a chestnut forest and oaks, and reach the aristocratic castle of the Malaspina family, experiencing both the serenity and the culture it offers.
The horses are well-trained, fit and a pleasure to ride. Depending on your level, the horseback riding tour can last for 1 hour or 2 hours. The tour ends at 14.30.
After the riding experience you will relax in the typical restaurant of the farmhouse, enjoying the specialties of the region. During the summer don't forget your swimsuit and jump into the swimming pool of the agriturismo.
Price includes: English speaking tour guide, horseback riding equipment, lunch (3 courses) and drinks.
You should bring: camera, elastic pants, shoes with flat soles and swimsuit during the summer.
To participate in this tour, a good fitness level and minimum riding experience is necessary.
