If you would like to get away for a day from busy seaside villages and beaches, try wild water river trekking in a stunning canyon not far from the Cinque Terre. It will be a really refreshing experience, a fun adventure, especially during the hot summer days.
You will be trekking in the Stretti di Giaredo, a natural protected area of exceptional beauty, walking between the high walls of its canyon, swimming in crystal clear water and admiring millennial multi-colored rocks. At the end of the excursion you will enjoy a tasty lunch-snack with typical products in a local restaurant.
The excursion will be guided by expert guides who will also provide all the necessary equipment (wetsuit, helmet and lifejacket). The tour starts from the small village of Cavezzana Gordana. You will reach the entrance of the canyon walking along paths and in the riverbed for approximately 15 minutes. You will explore the canyon walking in and out of water and swimming through small pristine pools and small waterfalls.

You should bring: hiking shoes, socks, swimsuit, towel and a change of clothes.
Important: the tour is easy, but it is necessary to be able to swim. Suitable for families with kids 8+. The tour can be cancelled in case of bad weather, changes of the water level or because it did not reach the minimum number of participants.
