Have you heard of Triple A wines? It's a natural, artisan label, and stands for "Agricoltori, Artigiani, Artisti" (Agriculturists, Artisans, Artists). Heydi, a native winegrower from Riomaggiore, follows the wine-growing traditions handed down over generations. He takes you on a unique and interesting wine tour.
His vertical vineyards are overlooking the sea of the Cinque Terre, near Riomaggiore. The scenery is breathtaking, but work here is really difficult, you need an extreme dedication. The entire hillside descends abruptly 250 meters to the sea.
Heydi creates special Cinque Terre wines that transmit the true character of tradition, including the sweet Sciacchetrà and white wines that give salty sensations combined with the perfume of Mediterranean scrub. But he also makes new, modern wines, the results of experimentation, including a rosé and a red, all organic production.
Price includes: visit of the vineyard and the cellar, wine tasting of 5 local wines.
You should bring: camera, hiking shoes, water and raincoat, depending on the weather.
